Frequently Asked Questions

• DO YOU TAKE CUSTOM ORDERS? •
Unfortunately, I am not taking custom orders at this time due to my work load, but I am always adding new designs!

• HOW WILL MY PACKAGE ARRIVE TO ME? •
All orders are packaged professionally and carefully in order to protect them in transit to their destination. All cards and prints sized 8x10 and smaller are packed in a cellophane plastic sleeve, and shipped in a sturdy flat cardboard mailer. All prints larger than 8x10 are rolled in protective kraft paper and shipped in a sturdy cardboard tube.

• HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE FOR MY PACKAGE TO ARRIVE? •
For both domestic and international orders, prints are usually shipped out to their destination within 3-10 business days. However, holidays and busy times of the year can delay shipment times, and the time that an order is in transit to its destination.
For international orders, please be aware that you as the buyer are responsible for all duties, taxes, customs fees, and VAT taxes levied by your country in relation to your order. Once your item has shipped, it can take several weeks for your order to arrive to your country.

• WILL I BE ABLE TO TRACK MY ORDER ONCE IT HAS SHIPPED? •
Yes. For domestic orders, you will receive an email with tracking information once your order has shipped. This also applies to international orders for countries that provide tracking information.

• MY ORDER ISN’T WHAT I EXPECTED. MAY I RETURN IT? •
If you are not fully satisfied with your order, you are welcome to return it within 10 business days of receiving it. You will be responsible for paying for the shipping costs associated with shipping the item back, and you will be refunded for the cost of the item, less shipping, as long as the item is received in the same condition that it was shipped in. Returned prints that are damaged, ripped, and/or have visible wear will not be refunded. Please refer to my shop policies page here for more detailed information on returns.

Please note that all digitally downloaded orders, cards, notepads, and calendars are not eligible for returns.

• MY ITEM ARRIVED DAMAGED. WILL A NEW ONE BE SENT? •
If your item arrives damaged, please notify me immediately. You will need to provide a photograph of both the damaged item and package it was shipped in. • I WANT TO LEARN CHALKBOARD ART. DO YOU HAVE ANY RESOURCES? •
I sure do! I wrote a book that teaches you how to get started, and takes you in depth on how to create beautiful chalk lettering, illustrations, and designs. You can learn more about that book here. • WOULD YOU BE WILLING TO SHARE THE TOOLS YOU USE TO CREATE YOUR DESIGNS? •
Sure! I share basic information about the tools I use on my website here, or you can follow the link here for information about my book, which teaches you about the tools I use and their purpose in greater detail.

• HOW DO YOU ADD COLOR TO YOUR CHALKBOARD DRAWINGS? •
Once a drawing is digital, I use Photoshop to add color and perfect the final drawing before offering it to you as a print or card.

• HOW DO YOU PRESERVE YOUR ORIGINALCHALK DRAWINGS? •
Once a chalk drawing is completed, I use a professional camera to photograph the artwork. This method allows me to maintain the imperfections and natural chalk dust that only real chalk drawings can offer while keeping the design smudge-free since it’s offered to you as a professional print of the original design.

• DO YOU HAVE FRAMING SUGGESTIONS? •
I sure do! These chalkboard art prints are printed on professional deep matte paper that truly looks like the original chalk drawing, especially once framed! White and light colored frames will naturally make the white areas of the chalk design pop, and creates a beautiful contrast against the chalkboard background. Barn-wood frames will also give your prints a rustic, homey feel. You can combine both of these aspects, and frame your print in a barn-wood frame with a white matte!
Chalkboard prints will look most authentic when they are framed in front of the glass of a frame since this method will mimic the natural flat surface of a chalkboard. To do this, simply take out all contents of the frame, and place the print in front of the glass rather than behind it. In areas where moisture is present such as bathrooms and sinks, traditional framing methods are recommended in order to protect the print from damage.

• WHAT ARE YOUR CHALKBOARD DESIGNS PRINTED ON? •
All chalkboard art prints are printed on professional archival quality deep matte photo paper. It has a silky smooth texture and very flat sheen, similar to the way that a chalkboard surface is naturally flat with little to no luster.

• DO YOU OFFER WHOLESALE?
I do not currently sell wholesale, but this is something I am looking towards doing in the future!
